Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is my 1967 Buick Lesabre Convertible, I guess we could call it a project that is 90 something percent complete. It's red with a tan top and interior. I brought this car 7 years ago, and it was in repair & body shops for a about a year and a half. I brought this convertible 1967 Buick Lesabre, originally to restore and keep for myself. However not long after buying it, or rather during the restoration of this car, I brought a turn key 70 Olds cutlass 442 convertible, I immediately lost all interest in driving this yacht. The Stubby muscle car look and power in the cutlass appealed to me. So I kept the buick in the shop(s) getting the work done but with no desire to drive the car. In short the car has been complete, or almost complete for the last 5 years. And I haven't driven the car 500 miles. I have now run out of patience and storage space for this car. So I have listed it here on ebay in hopes that it will find an owner who will enjoy it. The paint chips on the car are a result of putting stuff against the car and on top of the car while in the garage. I have tried to let the videos describe the vehicles condition to you. I have invested some money in this car, 3500 on the top and interior, 2500 on the motor, 4500 on the bodywork and paint. 3500 in rechroming (which isn't the best of quality). Not to mention the $3000 I paid for the car initially. And other misc cost of parts and stuff that I've forgeten. There are some misc parts in the trunk emblems and what not, they will go with the car, however the car will be received as picutured and videoed. Please use them as your basis, additionally if you are local you can come see the car in person. I can help the buyer with delivery within a reasonable distance in any direction. Please ask any and all questions prior 2 bidding, and only bid if you intend to promptly complete the transaction. The main sense of urgency driving this sale is a need for the space that this car is taking up. I would consider a buy it now for a buyer who would like to hurry up and get the deal closed on this car contact me. The mechanical, the original 340 or 430 motor (I don't recall which one was in this car.) Was replaced with a newly rebuilt 350 motor. I also did a lot of other mechanical work to this car hower I don't recall everything. Body & paint this car was stripped to the bare metal, then ecther sealed, then sealed then primed, then painted then, cleared. Then it sat around and got chipped up. Interior, complete new interior upolstery installed leather seats, with the factory stiching, new carpet, new top with glass window. The top skeleton was redone as well. This car has the original buick rally rims. Call CJ (9 1 7) 6 2 7 - 3 3 1 7 To set up an appointment to see the car in person.Thank you for looking and happy bidding.
