for auction is this 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 6 cylinder 5 speed. it is red in color. jeep cranks right up every time almost instantly and runs good. it has 192k miles on it, but these 6 cylinder jeeps go well into the 200's without needing work. BODY: the body for a 192k mile jeep is very good, it has a newer paint job on it and only has a few scratches on the body, no rust and no dents. paint is nice and shiny. it has a custom double tube front bumper, soft top is still in good shape(just dirty), half doors in great shape, etc. wheels are custom aluminum wheels and tires still have tons of tread, but are starting to dry rot some. this jeep was used off road some and also used as a daily driver. the only issue on the body is the passenger side mirror is missing the glass. it also has the wide extended wheel flares. DRIVETRAIN: the motor in this jeep runs excellent, no smoke or noises. the transmission in reverse and 1-4 is fine, 5th gear recently quit working. it will go plenty fast in 4th gear, so you can drive it like it is, or get a good used transmission for $600 and be done with it. the 4wd still works, but in 4-low only, not high. 2wd works as well. INTERIOR: inside of the jeep has been rhino lined and there is no carpet. no rust on the floors they are in good shape. ALL seats were replaced with new bestop seats not long ago, and are in great shape, including back seat. the interior is a little dirty and could stand to be cleaned. it has a CD player that works good. a/c blows but not real cold, may just need freon. the only issue inside the jeep is half the key is broken off in the cylinder. the rest of the key and head can be used to crank and shut off the jeep just like a normal key would operate, it's just half a key lol. Overall this is a great jeep that you could tool around town in, use at the camp, mud toy, whatever, it still looks good, only has a few issues, and is the CHEAPEST 97-06 TJ you will find with no rust! remember this is a 6 cylinder, not a 4 banger.. it comes with a clear mississippi bonded title in hand. i have barely driven this jeep at all, i have 2 others, which is why i'm selling.
