This auction is for a 1970 Cadillac Deville Convertible that a friend of mine has asked me to list it for him. He has owned this car since 1996 and has been a spring, summer and fall driver for him. It has 98,000 actual miles and is pretty much an original car except for normal mantinence. He did paint the car and put on a new top back in 97. Recently installed tires, new front brakes, rotors and wheel cylinders. Really dont have to do anything except enjoy the car. Body is good and straight and has a nice paint job. He told me that when he had the work done there was very minor spots on the lower rear quarters and bottom of front fenders. Those areas were cut out, welded in with metal and repaired properly. Floors and braces front to back are original and solid, trunk pan is original and solid also. In looking the car over, I did notice a few repaired areas on the flat part of the frame. Looks like there was some very small rust holes that someone cleaned up and capped over them. Does not effect the structual integrity of the frame but feel that you should know its there. Interior is very servaciable with one tear on the drivers side seat bottom. The rest of the leather is nice. Dash and door panels are nice. Carpets could use a good cleaning. All electricals work fine, windows go up and down great, top works fine, boot is in the trunk. Bumpers and stainless are in good shape. Over all, a nice vintage Caddy to drive and enjoy for those fine summer days.
