1970 Volkswagon Beetle Baja Bug Custom One-off Paint Job This Bug just radiates fun and gets more attention heading down the road than cars 10 times it's price! Its a high quality bug that leaves everyone staring. There is a definite difference in quality on this VW then most of what you see on the road. This is a great car for someone to use on and off the road, or take to car shows and events, and its even reliable enough to use as a daily driver which gets great gas mileage! It is finished off in true Baja Bug style, with an incredible show quality paint job and Baja tilt front end! All the graphics, highlights, metal flake, and effects are ALL paint. The paint job was performed by a extremely talented artist known as "Coupland" who has a great eye for detail. The quality doesn't stop there, the interior has been nicely redone to go with the Baja theme with APC racing style seats, new door panels, new dash pad, and Scat shifter. This is a car that is fun to just hop in and drive no matter what the occasion. The VW is powered by a well built 1700cc air-cooled engine with plenty of power and a 4 speed transmission which is nice and tight, unlike a lot of VWs where the shifter feels sloppy. She runs and drives great with no starting issues and cruises down the highway at 70 mph with no problem! She is a blast to drive and it doesn't feel like a workout doing so. This Baja Bug gets attention everywhere you go, if you don't like being noticed stop reading this listing at this point! With this car you are sure to make new friends! From it's rust free body and pans to the show car paint job, this VW Bug is a show stopper that can be driven to and from a car show without putting a dent in your wallet because it gets 30 miles to the gallon.... If you ever thought about owing a Bug, a classic or just a fun weekend car; I wouldn't hesitate to consider this 1970 Baja! Condition:The paint job is an excellent show quality job with only one area (which is pictured) that has been touched up due to a ding in the body. The interior is very nice and fresh with a lot of new items such as new door panels, new dash pad, APC racing seats, CD player and Scat shifter. The headliner is in great shape and the carpet shows minimal wear. The tires are in great shape with the fronts having 60% tread left and the rear have about 85% tread left. As you can tell in the pictures the Baja Bug comes with an extra set of Weld aluminum wheels along with whats on it now.
