This is my 1968 Pontiac Catalina, I have been driving it about 3 years now. It has a great running 400 2 barrel engine with a Turbo 400 tranny. It has power steering, brakes and AC. The AC is not working. The car starts, runs and drives great. It uses no oil. It has fancy 18 inch wheels and the Paint is about 8 months old. I have put about 800 miles on it in the last month without a hitch. I trust it to drive as far as I want to go. The last time I check the Mileage it was about 18 MPG. I think that was great for a big car. I pulled all carpet out do to it had been mildewed from a leaking windshield. I had the front and rear windows removed all cleaned up and reinstalled. Now it doesn’t leak. The exterior looks real good. The interior has some flaws. The door panels are pretty good with a few minor tears same with the seats. They are decent, but not a show car. The headliner is not torn but it is old and original. The cardboard for the back window shelf was junk. There are a few good size cracks in the dash pad. With some new carpet and a package tray, the interior would look pretty good. The floors have no rust. The trunk floor is good as well. There was a little rust that we repaired right behind the rear tires. It wasn’t too bad. The paint it a base/clear gold metallic. I have the original wheels and tires to go with it as well.
