1956 Giulietta Spider short wheel base 750 series. Very Very complete and accurate 56 Giulietta Spider. 1956 Title, Matching number original engine that runs. Original tunnel case 4spd trans. Clutch works All gears work including reverse, The car moves under its own power, brakes work, hand brake works, lighting, turn signals all work, Starts right up with the key. Originally sky blue Painted red decades ago. Original trunk floor, interior floors. the sills had been worked on at some point but this was never a rusty car. The sills would have to be replaced to make a show car because the pinch welded seams have been shaved off (presume some previous owner was trying to streamline the body seams) Original correct seats (stationary on the passenger side) seat frames are in super condition. Original carpet, floor mats and interior panels. Unbelievable! All 5 matching wheels dated as 56. Tires are shot but they do hold air. Correct wood handle jack and lug wrench, (no tool kit) The top and top frame are in good condition. Correct intake and exhaust for an early 750 car. Slight previous curb damage at the RH sway bar mount that has been repaired but would need to be improved for a show car. Fuel system is complete but left dry because the fuel pump should be rebuilt. Not installed but included is the 750 style head mounted fuel pump. Trunk latching post is missing in the photos but is included. Known missing parts: RH windscreen post cap. That's it! Original running motor and all major systems function, but it will need either restoration or thorough service to make it driveable. Some restoration and service work is done but definitely needs more. The paint is tired, 20 years old not the right color and was not done to be a show car even then. All chrome parts are solid and restorable but the finish on some are worn off or faded. All of the hard to find correct early 750 series parts are still on the car eg: correct exhaust bracket for tunnel case trans, original fuse box with 6 fuses and the correct cover installed. The trans tunnel has never been cut for a later gearbox, correct shifter with the curve at the top, correct shift knob only found on early 750's. THE original seats that have never been recovered. The door panels are original, yes the early cars had door panels that were attached with visible screws. and the floor mats are the originals, early cars had hand made floor mats with stitched piping around the perimeter. Shipping arrangements must be handled by the purchaser but I will assist in any way I can at my end.
