Up for Bid is this 1978 Chevy Malibu 2 door coupe. Car has a 400 small block motor that runs strong. It has a rebuilt 350 turbo transmission. The body is very solid with little to no rust. It is a true Southern car seeing it has been in Virginia all of its life. The car runs and can be driven around but needs to be checked before putting it on the road. The exhaust and radiator are new. The tires are in good condition and will pass inspection. The color of the car originally is yellow exterior with red (burgundy) interior. Now, it is in grey primer. The fenders and quarters are solid as well as the doors and floors. The interior has a good back seat and a front cover. Car has been off the road since 2008 but has been started and moved around on occasion. Also, the true miles of this car are unknown. This would be a great project for pro street, rat rod or just a daily driver. The car needs a few items to be road worthy. First, the brakes need to be checked over and/or replaced. Second, the car does not have a current inspection so it should be trailered till it has been inspected. The interior needs some work - headliner and front seat. There is a set of original mag wheels that come with the car (see trunk picture). This car is being listed for ABE Auto Sales out of Evington, Virginia. It is being sold "as is" and "where is."
