The check of course would be bad ( If I cashed it ) This is a scheme that is running on Ebay these days so sellers be aware if you are not ; So this time I have included a mandatory paypal deposit and no bidders with less than 5 feedback ; I hate to restrict anybody but people like this gives me no choice ; If you are serious and have less than a 5 you must contact me and we can set up a phone conversation ; Bike has to be picked up at my shop at zip 39443 ; If you have a shipper that will crate it for you I can help load it ; I will not pay your shipper because that is not my responsiblity ; Again this paragraph does not apply to normal people ; That being said , please if you are interested please make me an offer and please don't wait until the last day in case I get busy ; I missed 2 offers on some stuff because the ad ended and I did not get back to my computor before it closed ; Thanks to you all for your consideration : ) I have been absent from E-bay for a while but plan to run a lot of stuff I have accumulated through the years to try and get out of debt ; I will be working two jobs plus this and also an auction house helper one night a week ; So I may be slow to list and probably one day a week ; Feedback is very important to me , and a lot of times I post stuff for friends at no charge except fees and stuff to help them out so please post feedback as soon as you receive your item or please at least let me know it has arrived safely so I can release funds to others that I may be selling for ; I try to list everything as descriptive as possible and all sales except something that is grossly misrepresented by me, which is not likely , will have to be final ; I am here to make friends and maybe some repeat customers ; Up for grabs is a 1977 Honda Z-50 Motorcycle , I bought the bike as a project but never got too far with it ; This is the summary of what I did to date ; When I got it the seat was off , Tank was off , And it had another carb on it which obviously did not belong to the bike ; The guy I got it from said that the old carb was in a box that he gave me and I took it and put a kit in it and it was running really well ; I rode it very briefly and it shifted out good (semi automatic) ; It had no fuel line going to the carb so I used a piece of clear rubber hose that I had to make a temporary hose or line ; When I put the tank back on the bike the line runs straight down and hits the choke mechanism which leads me to think that maybe this carb is not an original either ; In either case I included a picture so maybe you can draw your own assumption ; I replaced the seat bolts with some I had in the shop because they were stripped ; I polished parts of it to make it look a little better ; I rode it around about 30 minutes and it flooded and would not crank again ; I am sure it is something simple but I do not have the time or the particular interest to pursue the project any farther ; I am sure someone who knows a bit more than I do about a motorcycle can have it going again pretty quick ; It ran quiet and smooth and was pretty fast for its size ; The makeshift fuel line leaked around the nozzle that goes to the tank ; I drained the gas and that was the end of the project ; I need money more than I need to invest in this bike if someone is interested ; I also have a hard time riding it because my legs are too long and almost touch the handlebars when I am riding it ; Recipe for disaster for sure and I am too old to break bones and fool with stuff like this LOL ; So that is the story to date my suspicion is the needle and seat on the carb must have gotten stuck because it is dripping out of the overflow tube ; Please study pictures and make your own educated opinions and determinations I have put a buy it now on it at a comparable price that I see these selling for on ebay all the time not running at all ; I can furnish a bill of sale to you but seeing as to how this is an off road vehicle I see no need for a title but I suppose you could get one ; VIN # Z-50 A- 6210577 Now for overall condition : You can see a lot in the pictures provided , There is a small tear in the lower back of the seat and some foam is showing (nothing major) There is some rust under the fenders where moisture has accumulated through the years ; There is some minor rust on the wheels in spots , Chrome in spots , Handlebars etc which is common for a bike this old ; It would probably rub out good with a good chrome polish ; There are tiny dings on the chrome fenders but not too bad ; The tank had a small dent or two but very small ; The Bike does not have a kickstand which is a bummer but they are not too expensive , that is why it is propped up against my toolbox ; There is some rust on the chain ; This is all in my opinion very minor fix ups ; This should be a nice project bike to fix up for a kid who's legs are not as long as mine are ; Please note that the headlight assembly is busted up and will; have to be replaced but can be bought right here on bay for less than 40 bucks if you need it ; The back light burns while it is running ; This is a cute little bike to look at and it is no wonder they are so popular ; I enjoyed scooting around in the yard while it lasted but am thankful all my bones are intact ; All it needs is a cycle mechanic and a little tender loving care ; Included is a picture of the headlight assembly which appears to have been hot glued in place and was shabbily repaired ; Either way it has no bulb ; Included as well is a breather assemble which he gave me which must be stopped up because the bike would not stay running if I tried to slip it over the carb neck ; There is also the other carb he had on there which will be sold with it ; I have no way to ship this so I am offering local pickup only or buyer can arrange for shipping and I can help load it however the shipping company will have to pad it or whatever it needs for transport ; Payment can be made by paypal or when picked up but either way please try to make it happen within 7 days pickup ; This bike is being sold as is where is ; NO warrantees expressed or implied ; I do not think it will take much to get it going again it was a smooth running machine while I had it going but I have too much to do to fool with it any more ;
