Vehicle Detail

I need to sell my 1972 Chevy truck because my wife does not have a job. I wish that I could keep it but I just don't have the money to restore it. The truck has front disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning (currently not working), posi rear, 350 engine, and 350 tranny. Mechanically the truck runs and drives fine with the exception of the choke not being hooked up or the kickdown. The choke isn't hooked up because I had to take the Holley carb off of it and put the factory Quadrajet back on it. In the process of soind this I lost a clip for the choke linkage. The kickdown isn't hooked up for the same reason. The trans went out on me shortly after I bought the truck so it has a new transmission in it from Monster Transmissions that has a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Everything with the rear brakes has been replaced. The drag link has also been replaced. The truck also has an in bed tool box that can be removed. I have a few extra parts that come with the truck but not many. Depending on what the truck sells for a new 6" Superlift suspension will come with it. This lift sells for $1200 by itself and will be thrown in if the truck sells for $500 over the reserve. Now to the work that the truck needs. Both cab corners need replaced, LF lower fender corner, front bumper (bent), grill missing embelem, 3 of the 4 cab mounts are rotted on the outside section, windshield (cracked), miscellaneous body trim, seat cover, and random oil leaks that I can think of. It does have some dents and dings but that is normal for the year and mileage. All in all if you are looking for a good project truck or one for the farm this is it. I am the 4th owner of the truck so I am uncertain on the actual mileage of the truck, all I know is what is on the odometer. Apparently the truck came from Texas then went to Utah and finally ended up in Colorado. The truck comes with no warranty other than the one that Monster Transmissions has on the trans., so therefore the truck is sold as is. The buyer is also responsible for transportation of the truck, this means they will have to schedule a pick up at the items location. The truck is also listed locally therefore I can end the auction before it is over if it sells locally. I also expect full payment within 5 days of the end of the auction, once payment is received I will send the title out and the vehicle will be available for pick up.
