This 2001 Ford Explorer suv was given to me by my father in law. It has an R-Title, I am not sure what happened, but it was professionally repaired. I can tell the drivers side airbag deployed. He had the truck and about 3 years ago was stuck in a snow storm when he messed up the transmission. The transmission was professionally rebuilt, but when they built it they put in a "slow" valve. Which means if you do not let the truck warm up for a min it will buck a little. Once its warmed up, it runs great. no problems. I put new tires, breaks, and rotars into it. That puts me about 2k into the truck. It was supposed to be for my wife to drive to work in the winter, then we sold my pickup and got her a better car so the explorer is not being used. I start it up and run it about once a week, but we just dont use it. Blue book on a new one is about 6k, being that it has the r title i would say its worth about 4. I will take what I can get from it, I am starting the price at 1k with no reserve. Condition: has some rust spots, we live in PA and road salt is everywhere, the rust is on the running boards and near the bumber but over all the body is great. (see pictures) The inside was professionally detailed and the seats and inside look great. Steering wheel has a line running though it where the airbag deployed. but it looks like they repaired it. The gas tank cover must have been broked because its held in place with velcro, it holds it great We never had a problem with it opening. R-title not sure what happened to it. The ABS Light is on, I have had the breaks fixed and have never had a problem with them. Ac blows cold, it also has a sun roof. CD player works great, has a tape deck also. Shipping and payments, you buy it and want it shipped thats up to you I have no Idea how to do that, Never have done it but If its paid for and you arrange for it ill be home for them to load it up. Payment, 100.00 paypal deposit due 3 days at auctions end, If I dont hear from you 5 days from auction ending, I will relist and report you. I have sold on ebay before and have been honest with everything I have listed. Pay the rest in cash, or money order or paypal when you come for the truck. No warrenty buying it as is, no refunds. We have many title places around us, I can even meet you at one of them. The Title says 68k miles on it actual is 66k. When we were getting the title changed over to us that what my father in law said was on the truck, when it was reallly 66k he just looked at it fast. Parts alone the truck is worth over 2k, I have 2k into it I would like to break even. Any Questions please ask, I will be more than glad to answer them.
