Vehicle Detail
1975 International Scout II · 345 V8, 2BBL Carb · Dual Exhaust · New 31” mud tires · New 3” suspension lift · New shocks · Rebuilt steering gear box · Recent transmission service · 56000 on the odometer · Just changed the cap, rotor, plug wires, alternator belt · New brake master cylinder · New Daystar 1” lift shackles on rear · Steering stabilizer · New stereo · Roof rack · New windshield · Custom two tone paint · Matching wheels · Custom bumpers front and rear This Scout is beautiful inside and out. I purchased it from the original owning family in excellent condition. The custom paint is newer, but has some minor chips and shows some small areas of surface rust on the bottom of the driver side door. Previous owner had done some extensive rust repair and added molded in fender flares. It runs and drives great. I used it as a daily driver. The only issues that I have found with it is that if you overfill the tank, it smells like gas, possibly due to a bad vent hose, and the transfer case is really hard to shift unless the vehicle is off, dome lights don’t work, and the speedometer is about 12 miles per hour off (reads slow), so the truck may have more miles than are indicated on the odometer. There is also a slight leak from the transmission pan, and the oil pan, but nothing major. $500.00 non refundable deposit due upon auction end. Auction open to US bidders only. I can assist in shipping arrangements if necessary but the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to see or test drive the Scout before bidding.
