This car has many Custom details, I will try and list them all. It has a 3 1/2 inch chop with rear window changed to oval style. The body has been molded, decked, shaved, nosed, and with the hood and trunk louvered. Head lights, tail lights, antennas, license plate and tail pipes have all been frenched. The grill has been rechromed with extra teeth added. This car is totally shaved including doors, the doors have popers and the trunck is electric. It is pinstripped on hood, on trunk, on dash. Has custom made hubcaps for the front, remington tires 3 inch white walls all around. Skirts and rear end extended, to keep the line. The Color is pearl tequila gold, which changes according to the light its in. I've put up many photos so you can get an idea of how it looks in different light. I did not take any photos with the side windows up, but they are there and work. The paint has a few blemishes, but shows very well, small and impossible to photograph. After the restoration this car has been garage kept and never driven in the rain. Theres no rust anywhere and very few miles since restoration. In the years I've owned this car, i've driven it less than a 1000 miles. It is mechanically sound, I would not hesitate to take a long road trip. Motor is a mildly built 350 with Wieland manifold and edelbrock aluminum four barrel carb. This motor came out of a 1974 Corvette and also has the 350 turbo trans both rebuilt, and floor shift, with late model Chevy rearend, all fresh. Runs and sounds like a dream, has the original Corvette valve covers. There are no leaks any place, very sound mechanically Inside: headliner, door panels and seats are pale yellow, seats are tuck & roll with pleated door panels, brown carpets. There are no rips or tears, very light wear on the interior. The dash has new chrome grill and clove box cover, with new VDO gauges, makes for a very clean look inside, strap was added on drivers door to hang sunglasses, lots of little details. This has brand new brakes all the way around, low miles on tires, Kenwood stereo, Infinity speakers. Airbags in all four corners with Airide compressor. If you want a car thats complete at 1/4 of what it would cost you to build, this is your car waiting for your you to put your own touches on it. I built my first custom in 1963 my dad was in the car business so I've had alot of access to this Custom culture. One of his carlots was across the street from Barris Custom and had another lot on Van Nuys BLVD in the hayday of cruise night. At that lot we only sold Customs, gasers, roadsters, and anything fast.
