1978 Lincoln Continental 4-Door Sedan 460 V8 4-bbl, runs flawlessly. All accessories are functioning and working great! Including speed control, power antenna, and hidden headlight covers. The A/C system is all there and working fine, just needs a bit of a charge. Power seats, power windows all work like a charm, no hesitation. Yes, even the dash clock operates like brand new. The car has just over 135k miles. It rides like a cloud and drives beautifully, the brakes are recently new, The 460 engine is smooth and quiet, loads of power to get this battleship moving fast – drivetrain is tight and the transmission shifts like butter, in fact drivng this dreadnought feels a bit like floating on the calm waves. I am the third owner of this car. 2nd owner had it a little over a year and the original owner only sold it because he got to old to drive. I am told the car has allways been garaged and infact many of the things that deteriorate fast in the weather are in very good shape, such as the vinyl top is smooth and supple no cracks. The dash and interior are in great shape as well, no cracks in the dash and the white leather seats have no rips or tears. The only flaw in this car is the rear bumper. The reason for this rust in the bumper is the original owner had to drive a mile of bad road to get to his house and in wet weather the clay would kick up behind and stick to the underside of the bumper. He being old the problem didn't get taken care of. Other than that there is no other rust. This car has a trailer hitch and trailer brakes. It always brings nothing but compliments when I drive it around. Lots of folks give it a “thumbs up” when driving by. The only reason I'm selling is because I have to many cars and can only drive one at a time! Someone else should have the pleasure of driving this car like I have had.
