Vehicle Detail
1981 Honda CB750 Custom (No Reserve!!!) 1981 CB750 Custom w/ less than 10,000 miles Great condition! New carburetor boots, front fork bushings, tires, plugs, choke. Brand new gel cell battery. Windshield, crash bar, sissy bar backrest with integrated cargo rack (all in near-mint condition) included. Starts up first time and runs great. Very clean cosmetically, only a few nicks on the tank, two small rips on the seat (see pictures). Always garaged. You won't be disappointed!!! This bike has been listed a few times... There was fraudulent bid retraction during the first auction that violated eBay's user agreement, which forced the auction to close with no bids. This is the same bike and it is exactly as described - in great shape, a real classic, and rare on eBay. Good luck bidding!!! Full description: This bike is recognized as a milestone for Honda's successful introduction of a transverse, overhead camshaft inline four-cylinder engine that has ever since been the dominant sport bike configuration. Cycle magazine called the CB750 "the most sophisticated production bike ever" upon its introduction. Cycle World called it a masterpiece, highlighting Honda's painstaking durability testing, the bike's 120 mph (190 km/h) top speed, the fade-free performance of the braking, the comfortable ride and excellent instrumentation. The bike offers electric starter, kill switch, dual mirrors, flashing turn signals, easily maintained valves and overall smoothness and freedom from vibration both underway and at a standstill. The CB750 is recognized as the four-cylinder sport bike that had a lasting impact and is often called the first superbike. The model is included in the AMA Hall of Fame Classic Bikes, the Discovery Channel's "Greatest Motorbikes Ever, and was in The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition, and is in the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.
