This has been my project for the last year and half. I purchased this from a colleague at work who had it sitting in his garage for 15 years with a car cover over it. He purchased it down south. He repainted it, and put a complete interior kit in it in the early 90’s shortly before storage. The dry storage did a great job of preserving the paint and interior as it is still very nice. Overall the car is very nice. The body lines are nice and straight. It is nice enough for car shows, and parades, but don’t expect any trophies. The paint does have few minor nicks and scratches, and the car has been driven. As far as I know the mileage is accurate, but I cannot prove it. I have personally put 5000 miles on the car. It has never let me down. Here is a list of what I have done to the car. Sandblasted, power coated wheels, installed 5 new tubes, and tires. Replaced front, and rear brake pads New rear wheel cylinders. Installed new top, dash pad cover, Sony MP3 stereo with line input Removed front clip, engine, and transmission Replaced all seals, hoses, belt, battery cables, battery, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, clutch master and slave cylinder, clutch hose, master cylinder, brake lines, front shocks, cleaned up, and repainted engine, and engine bay, cleaned up, re wrapped all wiring in engine bay. Removed weber carb, rebuilt, and installed a good used set of SU carbs. I still have the Weber carb conversion, and will give the winning bidder the option to purchase it for an additional $100. Car starts, runs, and drives well. It will run 70 MPH down the interstate just fine without any pulling, or shaking. The engine does not smoke, use any oil, or make any unusually noises. I included pictures of the gauges showing it idling with 50 LBS of oil pressure at 750 RPM’s. It has 75+ LBS of oil pressure at 3500 RPM’s when warm. All lights and gauges work as they should with the exception of one thing. When the wipers are turned on low, they work on high. The wipers work fine on high just missing the low speed setting. Since I never drive it in the rain I could not justify fixing it. Issues with the car I tried to take pictures showing all of the below defects. There is a small hole in the underneath side of the driver rear rocker panel from where I think the top leaked at some point. The truck lid is slightly bent where someone tried to close the trunk without releasing the latch. The front bumper has a couple of dings in it, and the overrides have some pitting in the chrome. The metal area between the windshield and the dash is still orange (the original color of the car). The orange paint can also be found hidden behind the interior carpet, panels, and dash. The two center straps on the boot need repair. Despite replacing all the seals the car it still leaks a couple of dime size spots of oil after a long drive. Also included are the boot, tonneau cover, battery tender, car cover, touchup paint, and extra vinyl for the interior. I tried to describe the car as acutely as possible.
