If you have a feedback of less than 10 contact me first otherwise I will cancel your bid. *************************************************************************************************************************************** For Sale is a 1971 Chevy Pickup, 350/5.7L V8 with power steering and power brakes. I have had this truck for some time and really don't use it and wife wants the garage parking spot and also selling for health reasons. In 2005 I had a new motor and transmission put it that costs around $2700 and have probably drove it around 50 miles since then. I have all receipts showing the work for the engine and transmission and other parts. This truck could be driven anywhere, runs like a top and starts right up with no hesitation. It could be a daily driver or a good restoration project. Have free and clear title to the truck. Details: Condition: The truck has a few dings in the hood from a hale storm about 6 years back. Mechanically it is sound but has a few issues. They are: The right side mirror is broken The Air Conditioning is all there but doesn't work. It does turn on and rotate but needs to be charged. The washer pump doesn't work The radio doesn't work. The windshield has a crack in it. All other things work on the truck. Here is a list of new or nearly new items: Engine Transmission Battery (and battery box) GM High Energy Igntion (HEI), plugs, wires, distributor and Cap Air and fuel filters Oil and filter Carburetor Water Pump Carrier Bearing Power Booster and brake reservoir Brakes (some have been replaced) Starter Alternator (converted to internal regulator) Fuel pump Starter and solenoid Steering Wheel Rear view Mirror Gas Tank and sending unit Extremely good rubber on tires (like I said, only drove it 50 miles) Rally Wheels and rings Custom Seats Radiator Belts and Hoses Mufflers and Exhaust Comes with spare and new spare mount Seats are in great shape (this was $500 alone) Now for the body. It can be seen in some of the photos that there is rust in the rocker panels. The cab corners have rust on them also and some rot as well as underneath by the cab supports as can be seen in some of the photos. The dash pad needs to be replaced as it is warped. The bed has some rust in it from the photos but not rusted through. Mechanically it is sound but the body does need some work. The windows do roll up and down but are stiff from not being used. The right door is hard to close at times and needs a new latch. It will close but needs a stiff slam. Please feel free to ask questions. It can also be viewed by appointment.
