I am selling my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT in beautiful condition. The 88 is the most desirable Fiero for the many upgrades that received for the final production year. This is a very fine example, reliable and cheap to maintain, and can be used as a daily driver. Turns heads everywhere you go. The car has 130000 miles on the body, but had a complete overhaul last year. Engine and transmission rebuilt. I bought the car in running condition, and did a complete maintenance to use it as a daily driver. I installed a 3.4 Jasper remanufactured engine, which looks stock for the Fiero, but gives it better power than the original 2.8 Maintenance done include (all new parts): Spark plugs, distributor cap, pickup coil, rotor, ignition module, all new bushings (control arms, etc.), new hub bearings, overhauled headlight motors, new EGR tube, no leaks on manifolds!!. Tires are expensive PIRELLI almost new. Cosmetically the car is just beautiful. It was painted a few years ago with the original color, still looks great. I added racing stripes ($250 professionally done with marine grade vinyl), dew wipes, quarter windows, custom dash kit, etc. I had the valve covers and upper manifold professionally powder coated by a specialized place. No cracks on the dash, new sunvisors and headliner, seats are almost perfect. New Sony stereo with new speakers. The car has over $8500 invested, runs great, looks great. There is no rust at all on this car, as it is an original Florida car. There are no signs of repairs. Has original steering wheel (I had it from another low mile car I have). All windows work fine, power locks and mirrors work. Please note, I am changing the tires before delivering the car. I will install a set of Comp T/A BF Goodrich on the same rims. Car has no rust. POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCHES ARE NEW, NOT FADED AND WORN LIKE MOST FIEROS. ENGINE IS NOT ONLY IN GREAT MECHANICAL CONDITION, BUT ALSO LOOKS BEAUTIFUL WITH THE POWDER COAT JOB. THE 3.4 JASPER ENGINE IS MUCH FASTER THAN THE STOCK 2.8 LITER REAR VIEW MIRROR WITH COMPASS AND AUTODIM, FROM A LATE MODEL CADILLAC. NEW HEADLINER AND SUNVISORS (ANOTHER COMMON FIERO PROBLEM SOLVED) GREAT SEATS AND INTERIOR: NEW DEW WIPES (WINDOW SEALS), HARD TO FIND, DIFFICULT TO INSTALL, EXPENSIVE. ALL FIEROS SUFFER FROM THIS.
