Vehicle Detail

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Prototype Rumble Bee regular cab shortbox pickup truck specially built for the 2003 SEMA show by Larry Wiener of Performance West Group! Many features in national magazines and websites then Dodge decided to put the Rumble Bee in production for 2004 and 2005! I have the original Monroney Label and the truck listed at $26,490 before the custom prototype pieces were added. The truck is finished in Spectraflair B5 blue and is stunning in the sunlight with silvers and golds that flash at all angles! It has white "C" stripes and the Rumble Bee emblem is hand-painted and face forward on both sides of the truck. It has a custom Six Pak hood in gloss black, hard bed cover, roll pan with 71 Superbee exhaust tips, and custom Katzkin blue and black leather interior. I could go on-and-on about the features of this truck, but all you need to do is go to the performance West Group website and see for yourself! http://www.performancewestgroup.com/other_image_vehicles/dodge_rumblebee/dodge_rumblebee.html The truck originally had a Kenne-Bell Supercharger on it, but the Chrysler Corporation borrowed it for testing purposes and autocrossed the truck, over-revved the original engine, and blew it up! They replaced the 5.7 Hemi with a brand-new longblock but left off the Supercharger. I do have the complete Supercharger kit that comes with the truck. I bought it with 3,200 miles showing on the odometer and it currently has around 9,600 miles, a large portion which was put on by driving it from San Diego, CA to Chicago, IL when I purchased it, and it ran flawlessly for the trip. I did buy two new Michelin G-Force 305-35-24 tires after I got it home, and will include another set of the SSBC Force 10 rotors and pads as the originals were used up during the autocross. The 3.92 Anti-Spin diff works great and the Hotchkis suspension really makes it handle! Also included in the sale is a binder with all the magazine articles, the Monroney Label, and several of the original magazines the truck was featured in. Missing from the vehicle when I purchased it were the custom pedals, Supercharged emblem on the dash, and the custom floor mats. Also missing was the Mopar Performance tach on the dash, but a new on in the box was purchased along with custom Rumble Bee floor mats and the orignal headlights, a set of custom blacked-out headlights are now installed on the truck. I am a true Mopar guy and lusted after the truck after I first saw in the magazines, and got luckythat I have had the opportunity to own it, but the economy has forced me to make this tough decision and I hope it goes to a good home. The truck is listed locally and I reserve the right to sell it and cancel this listing at anytime. I own a transport company and can deliver the truck to it's next owner for $1.00/mile, or you can fly in a drive it home! A $500.00 immediate payment via Paypal is required of the winner with the balance due within 7 days. Good luck, and happy bidding!
