This listing is for a bi-fuel CNG/Gasoline F-250 truck. This vehicle is a non-smoker’s vehicle and has been professionally maintained by a CNG mechanic’s shop. I bought it shortly after the 2010 model year trucks hit the showroom. I'm selling it because I don't need it anymore. There is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Almost all the 19,131 miles are highway miles driving the truck from Denver to Arizona and then Denver to Michigan. The interior looks new except for some small holes in the floor mat where I had an inverter mounted for AC power in the vehicle. The dash and seats look new with no stains or marks. The truck is equipped with upfitter switches. The only ding in the exterior finish is a small dent on the passenger side of the rear fender. This truck has DOWNLOAD capability - refuel other CNG vehicles from this truck!!! I have not claimed any tax credits on this truck. Check with your state to see if tax credits are available. This truck has an EPA certified CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) conversion from Altech-Eco installed by FuelTek Conversion Corp. in Denver, CO. It is configured as a bi-fuel vehicle that can run on either CNG or Gasoline. The 21 gasoline gallon equivalent (gge) CNG tank is mounted in the bed of the truck taking the first 2 feet of bed space meaning that the working space in the bed is actually about 6 feet. The tank cover is steel and has been rhino-lined for durability. I can make the bed look “new” with rhino-lining for an additional $500 at your option. For smooth starts in cold weather, the vehicle always starts on gasoline. Once the engine is warm, and if you have the CNG system turned on, it will automatically switch to CNG. If it runs out of CNG, it will automatically switch back to gasoline. This conversion is valued at $12,000. I have not taken any state tax credits on the conversion. If you are in a state where tax credits are available (Colorado has up to 75%!!), you can claim the tax credits bringing down the net cost of the vehicle. CNG is typically less expensive than gasoline. For example, here in Colorado, gasoline is selling for $3.75 while CNG is selling for $2.55. Drive the truck you want for 30% less in fuel costs. From Kelly Blue Book, the value of this vehicle in a private transaction, not including the CNG system addition is $31,315. Adding the $12,000 CNG conversion, this vehicle is worth $43,315. At the buy-it-now price, you are saving over $8,000 on this truck. The reserve price has been set lower than the buy-it-now price.
