This is an original 1982 Piaggio P501 Vespacar, also referred to as the 'Ape' 2-stroke 200 cc engine (aprox). It's a scooter in front, with an enclosed cabin, and a pickup truck on the back on a 2-wheel axle. The pictures say it all. It's in complete condition, runs, but needs some work. It has not been restored (it does have a new master cylinder and I serviced the brakes). Interested parties are welcome to email any questions.Motor cranks great and runs fairly smoothly; blue smoke as expected (2-stroke!). The carburetor weeps a little gas, may need new gasket. One of the differential boots may need replacing, evidenced by some differential oil leaking. Windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced.
