Vehicle Detail

2006 BMW K1200LT - Exceptional Condition - Loaded With Extended Warranty (Expires 4-29-12) Equipped as Follows: ABS, Cruise Control, BMW Navigation System, BMW (J&M) CB Radio, BMW Comm System (J&M) w/CD Player-AM/FM-Auxillary Jacks for Phone, 2-way Radio, MP3 Player, BMW Remote Locking System with Alarm-Locks Trunk, Side Cases and Comm Door on Tank, Trip Computer, Highway Pegs, New PIAA Lights, Red LED Wrap-around Trunk Lights, Amber LED Wrap-around Turn Indicators, Pulsating (2-3 second) LED Brake Light in Cargo Rack. Extras include the impossible to find Tank Bag, Battery Tender, Extra Key Fob (Lock, Unlock, Alarm Set) and several spare generic keys. This bike has never been down, only one minor scratch on the right side side case. It's shallow, vertical and about an inch long. It's barely noticeable because it's under the side chrome strip. No dents, dings, etc. All Service has been performed at Foothills BMW Triumph in Lakewood, Colorado, except for the 6,000 and 12,000 mile services which were done at BMW of Colorado Springs where the bike was originally purchased. It has been garaged, under cover, and plugged into a BMW Battery Tender when not in use. All service records are available on request. I bought this BMW from Foothills BMW in Lakewood sometime in 2007. It had been purchased by an elderly man in Colorado Springs. Obviously I'm the second owner and only rider. I have ridden from Denver to Washington D.C. two times with several hundred Viet-Nam Vetrerans for Memorial Day Activities. On the return trip, I rode over 700 miles in one day in total comfort. I developed prostate cancer from exposure to Agent Orange while in Viet-Nam. All the (removable) stickers on the bike were just my way to express my anger and sympathy for all my fellow Veterans. I did not ride much for the past year or two but feel the urge to ride again. I'm on the waiting list for the new BMW K1600GTL. I just sold my extrodinary, low mileage black BMW R1200C to help raise down payment monies. I have owned five BMWs including another LT, R-1200GS, R-1150RT, K1200 GT. All have been maintained to perfection. As has this one. I just had BMW Lakewood change the rear main seal, input and output shaft seals on the transmission, a final drive seal, and install the PIAA lights and replace the clutch. The rear tire has about 1,000 miles on it, the front about 3,000 (estimates). This bike is ready to go cross-country on a minutes notice and will give you 45 - 55 MPG on your trip. Don't let the price scare you off. It's at the high end of average retail but you will not find a better 2006 LT.
