Vehicle Detail
1967 Mustang – In storage for the past 10 years. Car had front end damage to the passenger side of hood, grill and interior sheet metal. Radiator support and inside front sheet metal have been replaced with reproduction parts, inside and outside of engine compartment were stripped down to bare metal, primed and painted gloss black. Engine compartment looks good enough for show now. Car has complete black and brushed aluminum deluxe interior with overhead console, missing radio, bottom of driver’s seat needs to be re-stitched. All glass is intact. Body is in good shape. Car comes with 289 V8, C4 auto trans, and dual exhaust. Engine was professionally built with larger Chevy valves, was fast and loud but, its been sitting for 10 years so of course it will need to be rebuilt, replacing with crate motor would probably be best way to go and most affordable. Greatest asset of this car is the interior I have been offered over $1000 for the interior several times but I do not want to be left with a shell of a car. Car no longer has deluxe steering wheel that I did sell for $360, car now has GT steering wheel, looks better and is more comfortable. This is not your average project car, interior is great. California car made in San Jose, first sold in Los Angeles, I beleive this car has always been in California. A crate motor and a little bit of work and this car will easily bring $8000+. Body is solid and straight, paint is ok but needs to be redone to show off the quality of the car. Exterior is blue, code is for dark green moss. Interior is original black deluxe with brushed aluminum. What it still needs: Engine rebuilt or crate motor, deluxe hood, grill, front valance. Registration for California: Ca DMV shows vehicle last registered in 2002. Car was abandonded on my property in 2000 and I was able to get the title signed over in 2004. Owner said they had nonop but DMV does not show this. Luckily fees have dropped off over the years and DMV now wants $492 to put it on the road. On Jun-27-11 at 19:07:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Question has been asked about the engine parts and what is included. In addition to the engine and trans shown in the original pictures the following pictures show what has been stored away in the trunk: · Radiator · Torque Converter · Grill Bar · Exhaust manifolds · Starter · Water pump (a couple of weeks old when removed) · Alternator (about a month old when removed) · Power Steering Pump · Front shocks · Flexplate · Chrome Ford Motorsports Air cleaner · Valve Covers · Hood latch / hood latch mounting bracket · Front bumper brackets · Carburetor · Carburetor plate · Distributor / Cap / Wires · Hood Springs · Passenger side headlight bucket (damaged in the corner) (Drivers side headlight bucket is on the car) · Headlights · All of the brackets, pulleys, linkage and engine cross braces in the front of the first picture are stripped, primed and painted gloss black. The following picture shows the dual exhaust, side trim plates and driveshaft , all are included.
