Vehicle Detail
An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, VERY ORIGINAL, SURVIVOR, 1970 Road Runner for sale with ONLY 64,000 Miles. This bird has a strong running Matching #s 383 Engine, and original Drive Train, including the 727 Torque Flight Automatic Transmission. Paint shines in the Ivy Green (EF8) color it left the showroom with. No scratches or dents, and NO BODY RUST. The chrome is in great condition and shines. All original and undisturbed undercarriage, with no rust compliments of West Coast and Southern living, and the original dealer applied undercoating. All original interior with exception of a recent front bench seat cover replacement with correct two-tone metallic green seat cover provided by YearOne. The back seat is original and in absolutely great condition. Seat belts are original and in great shape, and the headliner is perfect. All instruments and gauages work, including original radio. An upgraded JVC stereo system in glove box for cruising enjoyment and to actually hear the music over the strong running MOPAR 383 engine sound. The carpet is clean and in great condition. This Road Runner is original down to drum brakes, the orginal 5 spoke magnesium wheels, Goodyear polyglas F70-14 tires, and period correct battery - not a sealed battery with cover to appear as original period correct battery. Engine compartment has the acid splash stains to prove it. Trunk is very clean with all original metal and no rust. Even has original jack assembly. The car also has many of the original factory inspection stamps and marks. Only known issues are small chip in front windshield that has been professionally repaired/sealed. As can be seen by the pictures, while no exhaust leaks, my want to replace exhaust pipes. The VIN number is RM 23 N0A 127455, which decodes as follows: R - Belvedere (Road Runner/Satellite) M - Medum Class 23 - 2 Door Hard Top N - 383 4BBL 0 - 1970 A - Lynch Road, MI 6N - Sequence Number This Road Runner is one of the finest and most original you will ever find. It is in great shape, well maintained, and always garage kept with car cover. Engine runs strong, and car is very fast with great torque for a quick quarter mile. The power steering makes the car easy to drive. This bird drives straight and tight, and has a firm, yet very smooth feeling ride. Bid with confidence. This is a beautiful, original survivor, that would be a great addition to any MOPAR collection. Beep! Beep! (All information provided is presented to best of seller's knowledge.
