2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT NO RESERVE!! 134,185 Miles BRAND NEW* Automatic Transmission I purchased this car from original owner 2 years ago. Car is located in Earlville, MD (1hr north of Baltimore, MD and 1 hour south of Philadelpia, PA). -The car has an aftermarket $800 Borla Exhaust system which was installed about a year ago. -2 months ago the transmission was completely replaced with a Brand NEW Factory one. The total cost to replace the transmission was $2,800. (I have the 3yr 36k mile warranty and all sales reciepts for repairs and only 2k miles have been put on the car since.)* -3 weeks ago the motor started ticking while driving and began to get worse. The car was still driveable but the ticking seemed to take away from the power of the motor. The car was trailored back to my house and I have not driven it since. The car has not been looked at by a mechanic to determine the cause of the ticking. The car still idles, runs, however the car will need to be trailored/towed by the winning bidder. I would attempt to have the car looked at and fixed myself, however the brand new transmission that was just installed has left me with a lack of funds to put towards any repairs that would need to be done. Therefore, I am selling the car with no reserve to the highest bidder. The engine ticking is the only issue that the car has; everything else is in good working order (brakes, tires, etc. everything is in good condition).
