1969 Chevelle SS Interior 8 /10 Exterior 8 /10 Frame/Drivetrain 9.8/10 Lots of new parts...some on and off car. All newer metal reworked...body needs finished. In primer. Solid frame. After 7 years, time to part ways. Race motor per Dyno Shop (Hammond, IN) 1970 Chevrolet Big Block 402 c.i. bored over .60 (HP) stamp on block and heads. Rare motor. Motor runs REAL strong. Major selling point. Not your Grandma's big block. Billet 50,000 h.e.i.distributor. Chrome water pump. New accel wires. Plugs. Vacuum canister for extra brake pressure. Motor lopes. Edelbrock high rise r.p.m. manifold. Stainless bow-tie intake bolts. I only use racing fuel. Car runs best at around 115 octane. Will run rough at 93 octane. Big cam 750 Holley dbl pumper carb. Stock headers. Massive power from all ranges. Carb does need a tune. Timing is on. New flywheel, Chrome valve covers. New high torque mini starter(Hitachi) New radiator, some hoses. Trans stick. New master cylinder. 3speed trans. Newer filter. Linkage needs adjusted forward one notch..sub-frame and frame SOLID. Steering is nice and tight. Age correct tach and new gauges. As well as a JVC flip down radio with 3 outputs. New 6x9's and custom snakeskin back dash and side rails..New custom headliner and new carpet. Rest of interior is nice to very nice for age of car. Seats do have little wear. Few spots need touched up but all in all many compliments. New rear armrests. Door panel emblems. New shift selector plate. Horseshoe shifter and console. Nice dash pad. Glass on car as whole is a 7-8 out of 10. Nice chrome one rust spot on front,and minor wear but cleans up nicely. New competition engineering drag shocks. And 69 #matching 12 bolt rear end.axle seals wet but not leaking. 4.10 richmond gear FULL POSI.(FULL POSI) So no driving when even spit on ground. Got it. Don't want this gem to get smashed up. Custom competition engineering 4-link with professionally welded crossmember. Double seam mig weld. Torsion bar included. Hooks up real NICE. Reworked driveshaft. Custom exhaust 2.5" Dynaflow to 3" with chrome tips. Exhaust comes out in front of rear tire with mounted custom bracket. Right side headlamps need replaced. Ground prongs are old and fell off but headlight wiring works. Lots of NEW Chrome Chrome radiator mount. Chrome hood latch. Chrome door handles. Chrome mirrors w/ smoked glass. New taillights and chrome. New side marker chrome. New SS side fender emblems. New stainless fender trim. New door panel chrome insignia. New chrome fan shroud. There is huge potential with this car. Car is in my opinion 90% complete. Minus the paint job. Minimal body finishing. No bare metal. Top of roof needs to be sanded (old clear coat needs removed) I am asking for a starting bid of $7500 Easily well more there. Compare to all the listings on here that sold for 8-12k range and you can see this is a value for a car that has huge potential for future growth. Reads 73,000 miles roughly. I assume correct. Being condition of frame/Sub-frame. Trunk is clean no holes. And what glass/filler has been used. The car is all metal throughout. All reworked metal. Where it needed it.. mainly rear quarters. Pictures I have of car when I purchased are included. And I make no claim as to the 100% mechanics of said vehicle. I am not a mechanic. But in my personal opinion I have gotten many, many compliments on car. No "serious" leaks I have ever been aware of. Typical big block stuff. Gotta re-tighten stuff from vibrations. The car will need to be trailered. Being the FULL POSI. You can street drive car but not for terribly long distance. Unless you want to damage rear end. Motor does not overheat. Holds a nice oil pressure at operating temperature. *Extra stuff included. Various old parts and a 10 bolt open gear rear end, for in case of possible breakdowns.
