FOR QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL 765-561-0599 You are looking at a nice driver quality 1957 CHEVY BEL AIR 2 DOOR HARD TOP with a 350 V8 ENGINE and 350 TURBO TRANSMISSION. I purchased this car from a local gentleman who needed money for some family issues. This car was his pride and joy and he hated to sell it. I purchased this car simply to help him out and have no need for it. Therefore this 1957 CHEVY BEL AIR IS BEING SOLD WITH NO RESERVE!!! This car has an older restoration in which he and his father did most of the work themselves. They did a good job on the body and paint however it is in no way a perfect show car. The engine was rebuilt by Zimmermans Speed shop which is a well know engine builder in our area. The engine runs strong, sounds great, and has a mild cam. You can see from the pictures that the floor pans have been repaired and there are a few small, but very few small places on the trunk floor which were repaired. It would appear that this was a very solid car for it's age before the restoration was performed because there a very few areas of panel repair. The interior has been completely restored and is in good condition. The car runs great but has considerable play in the steering. You can drive it however ther steering will need some work. The odometer reads 18,619 miles however due to the age of the vehicle I am going to sell it to be MILEAGE EXAMPT. As stated above it is not a perfect show car however it is a car that you can drive, take to shows, and still be proud of. Cars like this are becoming increasingly more difficult to find. The paint and body are in good condtion but not perfect. The are a couple pieces of trim missing, the are some bubbles starting to form on the bottom of the right door, and the chrome on the bumper have some pitting. Overall this is a nice drive quality car. INTERIOR: Looks good. It was not restored with the original upholstery but was done nicely and looks good. DRIVETRAIN: Starts, runs, and drives. As stated above there is considerable play in the steering. With a little work to the steering this could make a very nice driver or with a little more attention to detail could make a nice show car. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be relisted, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up. Vehicle must be picked up or paid in full within 10 days of the end of the auction. All shipping must be paid for by the winning bidder.
