This is a No Reserve auction, high bidder wins. I bought a newer Harley touring motorcycle and am selling this CBX. I have owned this bike for over 6 years and have ridden it less than 700 miles. It runs and drives Awesome!!! I ride this bike out to the lake and back a few times each summer. The bike is a 6 cylinder and is Extremely throttle responsive!!! I have never had any problems with this bike, except for having time to ride it. This bike was the Superbike of it's day. The rear swingarm is a factory Aluminum Pro-Form swingarm like on the dirt bikes, and it provides more room for a wider rear tire than was on the 1979-80 model CBX. That was one of the best upgrades they did, that is why I like the 1981 model and bought this one. I have previously owned a 1979, and this model is Superior!!! This bike is for an experienced rider!!! I want it to go to a good home where someone can enjoy it! The bike has a 6 into 1 header and sounds relatively quiet, because it has the baffle still in it. I have put a new front tire and a new battery in it. The rear tire was replaced a few years ago. It comes with the factory exhaust 3 into 1 pipes. I am also throwing in a tank bag I got when I bought it. The previous owner rode it on longer trips and needed the bag that was sitting on the tank. It has only 1 flaw as I see it, and obviously it did not stop me from buying it. It has a small dent in the top of the gas tank. I have all the original manuals & the Factory Service manual in the large Honda 3 ring binder (Very Rare), and it comes with the parts micro films & valve shim charts. The service manual also has another manual that shows everything about the bike starting with the bike arriving in a crate. (Very rare) I also have a few folders with back in the day documentation and articles. The bike has 19,426 miles on it and may have 20 more on it soon, just to keep it exercised. The bike has a Custom Gunfighter seat made by Corbin, which comes with the Corbin factory passenger backrest. ( not shown-but included) The seat is amazingly comfortable and if you twist the throttle, it sits you back in the seat and does not try to throw you off like with the lame factory seat. I do NOT have anything else to go with the bike that has not already been mentioned. I did not get any hard bags or anything else with the bike, except the factory exhaust which is included with the sale. No other bikes in the photo's are for sale. I have a CLEAR title in my name.
