1983 Honda CX650 Nightstalker

Listed for sale is my father in law's 1983 Honda CX650 - with Quicksilver Nightstalker faring. This cycle is in near mint condition. He was the original owner and only took the bike out in nice weather. It was always stored inside and covered when not in use. My father in law did not ride the bike at all in the past several years, and passed away last January, so I am listing it for my mother in law. Since the bike had not been used, she had it gone over completely by Duffield Cycles of Greencastle, PA - Including new front tire, rebuild of forks and front caliper, and a complete tune-up. It also has a new battery. The cycle is presently in excellent condition and ready to ride. Attached is a copy of the repair order showing all the work done. This cycle is also ready to receive a PA state inspection stick once the new owner can provide proof of valid registration and insurance. As it is not presently registered or insured, we could not have the sticker placed on the bike. As I said, I am listing this cycle for my mother in law who is the present owner and seller of the bike. The buyer will be responsible for all title transfer and registration fees as well as state sales tax. The cycle is presently stored near Chambersburg, PA, and the buyer will be responsible to pick up the cycle - we cannot arrange shipment. Title transfer will be handled by a notary located in Mercersburg, PA. A down-payment of $250 will be required via paypal within 2 days of the end of the auction. The balance will be payable at the time of title-transfer, and will be payable in cash only. The buyer will certainly have an opportunity to thoroughly inspect the cycle prior to title-transfer, however the cycle cannot be taken out on the highway as there is presently no registration or insurance on the bike. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. I do not know much about motorcycles, and do not ride them myself. I do believe that the cycle is in excellent condition as it was always well-cared for and was recently serviced to assure it is in ready-to-ride condition.
