THIS IS A 1972 BMW 2002 The interior is very nice with a wood grain nardi steering wheel and wood shift knob. The seats are recaro's and the carb has been replaced with a weber single barrel. The solex carb is included in the sale along with all other parts that i have for it. mechanically advanced distributor, points and a few other mist. parts. The front brakes are now bigger vented brakes from a 320i and purchased from BMW2002.com aka IE engineering. The car runs and drives smooth no clunks or wobbles. The engine is in ok shape it does have signs of wear but doesn't smoke runs smooth and was able to drive from cape cod 4 hours away with no issues. Transmission shifts perfectly and i love the petal setup smoothest shifting car I've ever driven. The problems it has are the paint is pretty poor on top but the sides are OK. There is rust. but its only on the rockers and around some of the moldings due to poor paint prep (was there before i bought the car) I've had this car for 3 years and I love it but there's no time or money to finish this beautiful resto candidate. The tires are in great shape pirelli p6000 on ac schnitzer wheels. Mint condition on the wheels not even any curb rash. no corrosion nothing. The big rust areas are rust free wheel wells and under neither car came from California. This is a beautiful running 2002 which i love. I want to see this go to the best buyer.
