Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1990 Lotus Esprit SE. This means it has the chargecooler and more HP. It comes with a near perfect exterior other than some rock chips on the front dam. I have recently had it polished and it looks great. The front tires are at 60% the rears at 20%. It comes with OZ wheels as an upgrade. It has tinted windows. The engine has been maintained by a local mechanic familiar with Lotus. It has had a new alternator, fuel injectors, and catalytic converter as major items done over the past 5 years that I have owned the vehicle. The interior is near perfect. There is no leather pulling, which is common with these vehicles. The leather on the seats was replaced two years ago at a cost of $1000, it comes with Lotus floor mats, and a CD player. The only interior flaw is some cracking of the steering wheel artifical leather, perhaps the worst designed thing on this car. The engine is strong and has been serviced routinely. Turbo is fine. The car has a red exterior and tan interior. It is truely an eye catcher and I am always getting thumbs up or praise of the vehicle where ever I go. It looks fast just sitting there in park. Quotes from a previous owner who found this cars listing on Ebay and emailed me: Dear fisherinv, Hey there! Imagine my surprise when I see my old Lotus up for sale on Ebay! I was the High Point, NC (North Carolina) owner of your car and loved every minute of it. I wish I could bid on it and buy it as I know the service history on the car was meticulous when I owned it. Only the best worked on it and I spared no expense. Perhaps you have all the paperwork from 2001-2005 when I owned it. I REALLY wish I could have my car back! I still see the RFL Blow Off Valve which I installed and the Sony Stereo lol! I bet it still has the High Speed ECM chip installed. I also see the RARE Flowmaster exhaust still on. I remember blowing away a fully loaded Corvette Z06 in this car and getting a ticket for competition speed racing!!! FAST!! Anyways, to whomever gets this car, you are getting THE BEST. IT seems the owners after me also spared no expense. I am SOOO glad to see my old Lotus still on the road. Its like seeing an old friend again. Anyways good luck and I wish I were you (whoever wins - jardin*de*luxe Im the one who sold the car to Mr. Bow. I was the North Carolina owner of the car back in 2001~2005. I am glad you enjoyed the car as I did. Just curious, why did Tim Bow sell it? I remember he told me he was trying to collect all the cars he liked through the years and this was one of them. Also, did he give you all the paper work with it, including all the work I had done on it. I think I spent close to 10,000 dollars or so on maintenance. Anyways, I hope you sell the car for a good amount. Adam I have lowered my reserve price drastically from the original 18k so whoever gets this car is going to get a steal as far a value. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. A deposit of $1000.00 is due 48 hours after the close of the auction.
