Up for bid is a beautifuly restored 1973 Honda SL70KO. This has been a ground up restoration of an original and looks like a brand new bike, truly a "Time Machine". This bike runs as good as it looks, all switches work as they did when new, a great little bike. Engine: Dis-assembled, cleaned, new seals and gaskets. New piston and rings (std size). New coil, points, condenser, plug and wire. New springs and screws, it even has the original clutch! New original style reproduction exhaust. Original carburator rebuilt with original Honda parts. Original air cleaner assy that came on this bike. Chassis/Frame: Complete strip and paint in the original Cloud Silver color. All hardware re-cad plated. Several chrome parts were either polished or re-chrome plated. Original sprockets (cad plated), new chain. New wheel bearings and seals. Original front rim, new Honda rear rim, new spokes front and rear, new tires. Original brakes, original hubs (polished). Original forks, new seals, polished lower tubes. Original wire harness and ignition switch with original Honda key, new aftermarket 6volt battery. Original rear shocks. Original tail light assy with new Honda lens. Original Honda seat, no rips, tears or cracks. Original Honda tool kit (re-cad plated). Many new rubber parts. Original speedo. Original handlebars and controls (polished). New brake and clutch handles and grips. All new aftermarket cables (original style and color). Body: All items are the original Honda parts (except the side covers, these are new aftermarket original style). All parts have been repainted in the original Honda Blue for the SL70 of this year, new decals with clearcoat over these for maximum longevity.
