In San Diego area and up for NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1973 Mini Cooper 4 cylinder Coupe with a 5 speed transmission. It has a very nice sound system. It's also non smoker owned. It is and can continue to be a daily driver. It was donated by a well off gentleman in L.A. area. If you are new to Ebay with 2 or less positive feedback, please email me with your phone number before you bid. It was inspected by a Mini expert and I was told that it's in great condition. It is a 1990 model even though it says '73 on the CA title. He indicated the stamp on the trunk lock that says '90 and I'm still confused. Engine is strong and good. Easy to start and runs great. Dash gaues has good readings when cold and warm. Choke works well. Handles well also. Clutch and transmission shifts nicely. Has a stainless steel exhaust and muffler. Has power brakes. It's a beautiful car. Body is great and solid. Paint is beautiful. Has sport mirrors and rims. Nice white racing stripes on British Racing green. Please look at the photos closely as they do a better job in describing the cosmetics than I could. Interior is very nice. Woodgrain is very sharp. Side panels, carpet, dash, headliner and rear deck, etc. are all very nice. It has a very expensive sound system. Kenwood KDC-208U 50Watt X 4 in dash CD player with remote and MP3 compatible. Indash unit is brand new and it was rewired at te same time. Has a Rockford Fosgate amplifier under the passenger seat for the 12" woofer. 3 way speakers in the rear with tweeters and mid-range in the doors. It has 2 sets of kets with 2 remotes for the Carbine auto alarm and power door lock system. Windshield has a 3/4" rock chip at the center about 4" above the dash. I was told it had not got bigger for a long time but I can get a new on installed at additional $200. Of course this is optional to the auction winner. Tires are good. Sport wheels are nice with the center caps. Brakes stop fine. Have a clean and clear CA title for the auction winner. Due to its age, this car is smog exempt. Registration expired March 2011.
