This is my 1953 m38a1 that ive had for awhile. It has the correct RMD engine which is stamped on the front pad. One picture shows the jeep with a top and it does come with it as well as side cutains. Frame and body is pretty solid. It is currently running on 12 volts. It starts and runs but shes alittle rough so i think it needs to be timed. I dont have an adaptor for the 24 volt distributor so i never did it. Clucth is OK but 3rd gear grinds. This is a nice solid jeep and does run but will need some tinkering to get it perfect. Brakes are good all the way around. Tires are very nice Cooper NDCC.This is a very early A1. I had the original fuel pump/ Vac pump rebuilt not long ago. Gauges work but are 24 volt so not 100% accurate. It has headlights, brake lights and tail lights. All dash data plates are there and original. Also the data plate behind the passenger seat is there and original. The data plate behind the passenger seat matches the dash data plate.I also have an original rear seat for it but didnt take a picture of it. The front seat frames are origianl but are vinyl pads painted green. The rear seat will need new canvas.The jeep starts up and runs but i would change it back to the 24 volt system.It has the correct 950S carb on it. New plugs points and oil change recently. The jeep is currently registered to me i have a transferable registration in my name for it. I WILL NOT SHIP THIS OUTSIDE OF THE 48 STATES. DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE LIVE OUTSIDE THE 48 STATES. My terms are you can come and pick it up or if you want it shipped payment must be made up front and clear before the jeep is shipped. Buyer pays all shipping expenses. i will help how ever i can with the shipping company. Once payment is cleared the registration will be sent over night to the buyer.
