This is a very nice Original Sedan De Ville with one owner for the last 22 years. The mileage is correct. The car was repainted 30 years ago and shows a little surface rust along the sides of the car and in the rear corners of the trunk. But looks very good. It does have a few dings but nothing major. The engine has been totally re-built by a professional machine shop. rebuild enables car to run on unleaded fuel. I have receipt for the complete engine overhaul which now has less than a thousand miles on it. At the same time the Transmission was completely overhauled and I have the receipt for that work also. When motor was out of car the frame was cleaned and it sparkled and was repainted black to protect it. The carburator was also rebuilt and new wires,cap,rotor,spark plugs were all installed along with new fuel filters air filter and oil and oil filter. A new fuel pump was installed. The power steering fluid was flushed and new hoses and new fluid installed. The Motor and all components were profesionally repainted with Cadillac Blue engine paint and new belts were installed. The battery was replaced with new battery and battery tie down. The radiator was pulled re-cored and installed and filled with new anti-freeze. The heater core was removed,rebuilt and re-installed with all new hoses. The generator was removed ,rebuilt and reinstalled. The master brake cyllinder was removed,replaced with new master brake cyllinder along with new booster. A new wheel bearing was replaced and the rest were re-packed.All brakes were removed and replaced with new shoes,new hardware kits,new wheel cyllinders and hoses. New brake lines were installed.All 4 shock absorbers were removed and replaced with new HD shocks. Have all receipts for all work performed.The exhaust manifolds are new along with new exhaust gaskets and a complete new dual exhaust system with new resinators and mufflers and tail pipes. All lights and switches work. The turnsignals work perfect,the parking lights work the fog lights work,the high beam indicator works,brake light works.Interior lights work.headlights work,even has original t-3's.The headliner,seats,dashboard have Not been replaced because they are all in very good original condition and do not need to be replaced. The drivers side door rest should be recovered and carpet replaced. The dash is nice and level and the clock and ignition switch fit perfectly unlike the majority of 59's out there. The electric eye works,The radio works intermitenly and antenna work perfectly. The rear liscense plate light works. The blower motor for the heater/defrost works perfect. The windshield wipers work perfect.The horn works perfect. This car runs,shifts and drives perfect. The front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition. Note the front picture of the grill and bumper and see how level all bumper lines are where they meet. This car was purchased new in Iowa and purchased 22 years ago from it's original owner and has always been in a garage since then. This is a hard to find car because of it's condition and the fact that almost everything mechanical has been re-built or replaced.I have extra oil and air filters that go with car along with a few extra new parts.
