1962 Ford Thunderbird Up for auction is this 1962 Ford Thunderbird Coupe. I am listing it on Ebay for a friend who is not internet savvy. This is a very straight bird from southern California with no rust issues. It is equipped with air conditioning and a 390 4 barrel Thunderbird engine with automatic transmission. This car is fully loaded option wise with power windows, driver’s seat, brakes, steering etc. The windows go up and down well. It has the swing away steering wheel for easy entry and exiting the driver’s seat. The body is extremely straight with a new black 2 stage urethane paint job that has been wet sanded and polished to a beautiful brilliance. Most all the chrome including the bumpers and grille have been re-chromed and are in beautiful condition. The windshield and the rest of the glass are in very good condition with no cracks or delamination. The interior is mostly original in excellent condition. The seats, door panels are original and are beautiful with no rips or tears. The headliner, carpets and trunk mat are new from Larry’s Thunderbird. The color of the interior is a light tan which complements the black exterior. The odometer indicates 57,600 miles and clearly has gone around once. The engine and transmission were gone through and operate and drive well. The wheels are polished alloys and are in great shape. Here’s a great cruise car that drives out well, doesn’t smoke or burn oil, and can be bought for a mere fraction of what a restoration would cost. It attracts attention and gets comments wherever it goes. This one is ready to go for cruises and show this Spring and Summer.
