1971 SAAB 95. Odometer reads 57k, but not sure if accurate . Soccer ball wheels. Refurbished 8k mi ago by SAAB expert Chip Lamb, including brakes, suspension, radiator, engine with Weber carb and front seat upholstery. The transmission was rebuilt prior to that and the freewheel is fully functional. Won second place, European Division, 2007 All British and European Car Day, Phoenix, AZ. This car is an absolute ball to drive. As Jay Leno says, the freewheel is “like riding a bike downhill with your feet off the pedals”. A great runner – drive it home with confidence. V4 engine has plenty of pep, and it will cruise at 85mph all day long. An extremely comfortable and reliable classic car. A new windshield was installed a year ago. There is a paint mismatch on the right front fender, but reformulated paint will accompany the car. Spare bumper, heater, fender,etc. Included. When I repaired the wiper motor, I was unable to get the blades to park properly, so there is an auxiliary on/off switch – the column stalk handles all other functions, including washers. Somebody familiar with wiper motors should be able to fix this easily. Clock runs slow. Aside from that, all electrics are fully functional, as one would expect of SAAB reliability.. $300 due within 24 hours of auction end.
