I am selling A 1981 Z28 Camaro with a 5.0 liter V8 and factory 4 speed. It has only 51,438 original miles. This was the last year of the 2nd generation body style and has the rare air induction hood which works.This car has been pampered and very well taken care of over the years. This Z28 is very clean and original.It has always been garaged and only driven on nice summer days. I still have the original rims and the original tires from when the car was new. I took the original wheels and tires off at 50,002 miles. It has never had any rust of any kind and has its original motor ,transmission, interior, etc. I have owned this car since 2002, but I've known the car all my life. This car was bought brand new by a woman we call Tootie in 1981 at Polmbon Chevrolet in Augusta Wisconsin. She had the car for 2 years and then traded it back in for a bigger car and then it was bought by a good freind of mine named Kenny (Hippy) the day it was traded in in which he owned the car until 2002 when I bought it from him. The funny thing is that when this car was brought to Plombon Chevrolet my freind Kenny seen it arrive on the car carrier and wanted the car but Tootiie already had it bought, but amazingly enough Kenny ended up with it 2 years later. Well back to the car. This car is super clean. It gets alot of attention when I'm out for a cruise with it. I did have the car repainted in 2005 because some neighbor kids when Kenny owned the car some kids had broke into his garage and tipped his motorcycle over and the aluminum clutch lever put a deep sratch in the left rear qaurter panel near the taillight. It didn't dent the car, but the scratch was to deep to buff out,other than that the original paint was almost perfect,but I,m pickey and didnt like looking at the scratch so I had the car repainted. The car does not have air or cruise control. The interior of this car is 100% original and almost looks new. The only flaw in the interior is on the left drivers seat there is a tear in the side in the seem from getting in the car and hitting with your shoulder.There is a picture of the tear so please look. This car runs and drives and shifts like new. I just had the carberatour rebuilt and put in new plugs,wires,cap,rotor, and coil. The only modification on this car is that I took off the original exhaust which was single exhaust from the Y pipe and came back out dual from the muffler so I put real on real dual stainless exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The Crager wheels pictured on the car do not with the car. The original wheels with the original tires will come with the car. The buyer of the car can buy the cragers for an extra cost $1200.00 in which I have more than that in them and they only have about 1400 miles on them. My buy it now price is below the value of the car. My buy it now price is going to be around $15,000.00 and if the car close to my buy it or within reason buy it now price then the cragers will be included in the sale of the car. I wish I didnt have to part with this car because it means alot to me , but my health hasn't been very good for me the last 8 months. I have eplained everything about this car to the best of my knowledge.
