Up for auction is a wonderful 2005 BMW R1200GS Motorcycle. This is NO RESERVE AUCTION, so the highest bidder will win the bike. These are one of the best selling BMW motorcycles. These are BMW's ULTIMATE OFFROAD MACHINE... These bikes give the ability to ride for long distances on or off the pavement in absolute comfort... This BMW R1200GS is finished in a beautiful Red color. The bike starts right up and rides beautifully. This R1200GS has the proper Metzler Tourance tires. The VIN is WB10317A55ZL75460. This bike has 46, 896 miles and is in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere. This GS has the ABS brake option and heated grips. The bike runs, rides, and handles perfectly and is a joy to ride. The bike is in great condition, it has a some wear on the hand grips and a few minimal cosmetic scuffs on some plastic parts. This bike needs nothing and is ready to ride across the country. Adult owned and driven. Always garaged, never off road. Highway Touring Miles. Smooth, Fast and Elegant. Handles like a Sport Bike...Comfortable Like a Touring Bike! BMW's Best Selling Motorcycle of All Time! When it comes to adventure touring bikes, BMW is the standard. The R1200GSA is not only 26 pounds lighter than the outgoing R1150GSA, it makes 19% more power - 100 HP is cranked out of the legendary boxer twin. Suspension duties are handled by BMW's innovative Paralever and Telelever technologies. BMW's advanced ABS system makes sure you can stop quickly on any surface and can be shut down if necessary. If you're looking for a bike the can take you to the end of the world and back, look no further than BMW's R1200GS. I also have the complete Service Manual for this bike in print and on CD. This bike has been set up with all the extra accessories you would want added if you were setting up the bike for yourself, only at a fraction of the cost. All services are current. I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic lubricants. The tires are Metzler Tourance with decent tread. Overall the bike is in great condition, but there are a few scratches but all are minor. There are some stress lines on the aluminum panel on the left side. I tried to show this in the picture but it doesn't show very clearly. This happened when I was on the highway and the wind pulled the panel off. I had just had the airfilter changed and the mechanic didn't secure the twistlocks. The extras include: - BMW Vario Topcase with backrest - BMW Vario Sidecases - Touratec engine protection bars - Front fender extension - it is wired for the PIAA fog/driving lights and has the mounting bar but the lights are not included - Corbin passenger seat - Spoked wheels - ABS brakes - Heated grips - Rock Crusher gear shift - Passenger seat - Large Tank Bag, never used - Givi tall windshield (make highway cruising pleasurable - Large kickstand plate - Accessory outlet - New battery - New Fuel Pump Controller Please ask questions, I'm happy to send additional photos if needed. On Jun-13-11 at 18:39:34 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike is the GS, it is not the GSA. In the description I used some standard BMW language which included the GSA model. I apologize for any confusion.
