This is a very nice Jeep that has had a lot of time and money put into it. Most of the work was done when i bought it. I bought it as a summer toy but have no time to play with it and my family doesn't fit in it. This thing probably doesn't have 20 miles on it since the work was done. You will not find a nicer CJ for the money! The body The tub is fiberglass. The hood and doors are new and steel. The windshield and windshield frame are old but in pretty good shape. The color is blue pearl. The paint is very slick and looks excellent with a lot of clear on it. It has new fender flares which are for a newer model CJ with side marker lights. Has recessed taillights. Has new stainless hood hinges and hardware. It has all new wiring and fuse block. The inside of the tub was sprayed with scorpion bed liner. The dash is aluminum diamondplate along with the door sills and trim around the shifters and front bumper. The seats are light grey high back buckets with seat covers.Has no side mirrors. Has no doors and no top. The drivetrain First off, I do not know the history of the drivetrain as far as anything being rebuilt or anything else. It all seems to be fine though. The motor is the Buick dauntless odd-firing 225ci v6. It has a 2 barrel carbeurator and stainless long tube headers with glasspack type mufflers. Its pretty loud and sounds awesome for a v6. It seems to run as it should according to what research I've done on this particular motor. I suggest bidders look it up also because its not a typical motor. The transmission is a 3 speed manual. I did notice some oil drips after i drove it. Maybe dry seals for sitting a long time??? The frame and suspension The frame is in great shape. It was sandblasted and painted with ppg. Has new gas tank with new gas line and an inline electric fuel pump. Has new ProComp shocks and steering dampener. Has a 3" body lift and 3" suspension lift. It has all new brake lines. It does have manual brakes and manual steering. The front axle I believe is a Dana 25 and the rear is a Dana 44. The locking hubs are mismatched. One is Warn and the other is Sears. The tires are new 33/12.50/15 Mud Star radial MTs and the wheels appear to have been painted but look new. The bad The wipers do not work. There is no heater. Gas gauge doesn't work. Speedometer doesn't work. It could use some finishing touches like boots around the shifters and pedals, new lug nuts (a few missing and a few different). I bought it as a 1974. It is titled registered and plated as a 1974. I Did not consider the fact that it may not be a 1974. Is it possible it isn't? Absolutely. After I saw it it wouldn't have mattered what the title said anyway. Is a very nice jeep. If you do not want to bid on it because of what the piece of paper says that's fine.
