1996 Ford Mustang COBRA - SVT Up for auction is this relatively nice and virtually all stock Mustang Cobra. The car is powered by the 4.6 Liter V8 producing 305 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The car offers fulll power options including power windows & locks, tilt wheel, cruise, A/C (very cold), intermittent wipers, leather interior, and factory CD stereo with upgraded MACH 460 Sound System. Everything works an the car as it should, and is extremely reliable. This vehicle was a repossession that we chose to spend some money on and retail back out to you the customer. The following has been doen to the car, prior to being offered here for auction: * New T45 5 speed Transmission- due to gear fall out in the old one (meaning, it would not stay in gear). * New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing- due to the age of the car, it was simply time to replace. * New engine rear main seal- because it is a wear & tear item and with transmission out, it was easy to replace. * New brakes- just time for them * Complete Engine Tune Up- because we didn't know if it had ever had one, or when the last one was done. * New Oil and Filter- again, we didn't know when it was last done, so we went ahead and done it. * New 50 state legal Performance Mufflers- one of the factory originals had a leak, and a deep throaty sound is so much better. The paint of the car is in overall good shape, there are a few scratches, nicks and a door ding or two, simply due to the year of the car. But overall, this is a great running car, with great miles and ready for someone to take home and enjoy.
