Vehicle Detail
This Corvette is an original L-82 with all of its original components. The previous owner of the car had the whole front end rebuilt, so it steers and drives the way it should. The previous owner also refurbished the interior, which is correct for the year except for the sound system and six disk cd changer that he added. The engine runs very well with no issues and the 4 speed manual transmission has a clean bill of health from when it was inspected last year. I have owned the car since 2008 and I have upgraded and repaired the following: 1. New 600 CFM Holly Carb & Air Cleaner 2. New Mallory HEI Distributor/ignition 3. New Rear Main Seal 4. New Brake pads / turned rotors less than 1000 miles ago 5. New Heavy Duty clutch kit 6. New Battery 7. New Plugs and Wires (8mm) 8. New Weather Stripping 9. New Flowmaster Mufflers on dual exhaust 10. Cleaned out cooling system and new 160 degree thermostat (it runs nice and cool). At the time that the clutch kit was put in, the whole running gear was gone through and the fluids were just changed. Everything on this car works, there are no problems with the car at all (the vaccum system for the headlights also works great). I have never been concerned about driving it anywhere. In fact, when I do drive it, it is usually for at least 100 miles each time. The car was repainted by the previous owner. Its factory color was yellow and it was repainted what I was told is a chevelle color from the same year. It is a bright red with a little orange. The car looks good when clean and waxed, but it is not a showroom paint job. There are some flaws and paint chips in the front, and the T-Tops have some scratches. None of the imperfections can be noticed unless you are inside of 10 feet or less though, so you will still get the looks from passers by. I love this car, and the only reason I am selling it is because of recent economic situations that have taken place in my family. So, please, no low ballers. I bought this car for $7000.00 in 2008 and I have put more than that into the car since I got it. If you have any questions, ask me and I'll do my best to answer quickly. Thanks for looking!
