For sale is a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT V6 5 Speed. The vehicle has 120600 miles with the rare light blue metallic paint. It has all the options except leather. It is free of any major scratches or dings. It is a 7 year old car so expect a few things (check out the pictures). This was a smokers car prior to me purchasing it. I am not a smoker and have cleaned it on several occasions; it does not reek of smoke, but does show the signs of being previously smoked in. The interior is good, the front seats are a little worn on the outside seams. They have been sewn, however it has a brand new set of airbag compatible seat covers that compliment the interior. The rear seat and carpet are in really good shape, not cuts or holes. The interior is black and blue. The dash has a few cracks which seems to be a common issue with eclipses. Those are the only bad points about the car. Now for the good, I have spent a few thousand in maintenance within the last 500 miles. The motor was taken apart to the block. -New timing set: belt, water pump, all tensioners. -Tune up: $6.00 per NGK Plug, and matching NGK wires, distributor cap and rotor button. - All other belts in the car were replaced. -Radiator cap. -Engine cooling system flushed and refilled. -Thermostat -Heads were taken off, taken to a machine shop and steamed, machined and pressure checked. -Complete head gasket set was put on. -Valve stem seals. -Crank seals. -Air filter -Bank 2 oxygen sensor -Miscellaneous O-rings -EGR valve -EGR valve solenoid -Radiator side catalytic convertor -AC vacuumed and recharged (ICE COLD) -Changed the oil twice -Valve cover gaskets -Tires are excellent and still have the nubbies on them. There were numerous gaskets, o-rings and seals that were replaced, so I am sure I missed something. I also have an aftermarket set of side bumper inserts that have not yet been put on. It had no problem passing inspection no check engine lights on. What it boils down to is this car runs and drives excellent. There are no leaks, pings, or unusual noises. I have receipts and pictures of when the car was apart. I would jump in and drive anywhere. It runs and shifts as it should. The car is beautiful. I am selling, because I want to move and need to get some housing projects completed. I will get some pictures of the interior up tomorrow.
