Up for auction is my wife's 2001 Nissan Maxima. This is a one owner car that she bought new from Middletown Nissan. This car was garage kept and serviced regularly until we foolishly gave it to my son to drive to college 5 months ago. Since then, it has not led a healthy life as you can see by the pictures. It has every option offered in 01 including power everything, heated seats, sunroof, cruise, leather, Bose sound with cassette and CD. The car starts and runs excellent. Shifts smoothly and drives great except for the vibration you get over 40mph from being knocked out of alignment. Now for the bad: My son had an accident at school as you can see from the pictures. The cooling system was not affected and there was no airbag deployment. The front fascia is damaged and the left headlight and directional are gone. ABS and TCS lights are on.You can pretty much see the extent of the damage from the pics. Fuel door release does not work. Someone who has the skills and determination to fix this car or needs a motor or other parts could have a nice reliable car with lots of options and plenty of power. In going through the service records, this car had new Hankook Optimo tires installed at 88000 miles which includes Pepboys road hazard warranty. It also had front brakes, shocks and struts replaced at the same time at Pepboys. Starter was replaced a few hundred miles ago. Although this car will drive, I don't recommend driving it anywhere but on a trailer before making repairs. Also not sure if autochek will have info on accident even though it was reported. email me if you need more pics or info.On Jun-03-11 at 05:52:30 PDT, seller added the following information: After looking at the autocheck report and seeing the other accident listing, my wife reminded me that she had a fender bender a couple years back.
