1955 Pontiac Catalina Hardtop I am offering this rare 1955 Pontiac Catalina hardtop for auction. This is a highly original (paint and chrome) in very solid condition. It has been fitted with a rebuilt 1967 Pontiac 400 CID 2 barrel engine and 400 Turbo Hydro transmission with less than 5000 miles on them and is mechanically excellent. It has a rebuilt/recored radiator and 12 volt alternator and is built to be driven anywhere on regular gas with no issues. This is a California car with amazing die cast chrome that is excellent and not pitted. Window frames on doors rear quarters, and vents are in near perfect condition. Dash chrome is perfect, bright and no pits. The car has just been completely reupholstered to original specifications of color, materials and patterns. I have run out of space and time to complete this car. What is necessary to be done to complete it is paint, body and some chroming. I am including a rare set of stainless steel skirts with the car. This Pontiac drives and stops smoothly with plenty of power with no issues. It has radial wide white wall tires and original factory wheel covers. It has the rare lit hood bird accessory. This is a turn key rare mid-fifties cruiser. This has the same body as a 55, 56, 57 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop but far more rare. I have priced this car for less than what I have invested in it.
