1973 Standard Beetle bought seven years ago with the intention to rebuild from previous owner. Nearly all components on car are new or rebuilt. Car would be perfect as a parts car. You could take the car apart and sell the parts for quite a bit more than I am asking for the car. Car has title, but I have not transferred it over from previous sale. Best thing to do would be call with questions or send me an email. Car has been rolled, but never driven. Here are some highlights: -over 1200 dollars worth of stereo equipment that is brand new -engine has all new parts, barrels are 92 mm with standard stroke, new alternator, new starter, new carb -new tires, new rims, new brakes (all disc) -rebuilt standard transmission -adjustable front beam (new), new urethane bushings in rear swing arms, all new bearings -have seats, hinges and trim parts (not pictured) -new battery, new fusebox (painless version)On Jun-01-11 at 09:48:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to clarify something in the description. The engine case is not new, it is reconditioned. Also, I have hundreds of parts for the car at my Dads farm. The winning bidder is certainly free to have those as well. There are fiberglass fenders and lots of other stuff in that lot.
