Very rare and extremely well preserved 1966 Chevy Suburban found in a barn. This is NOT RESTORED, but still in it's ORIGINAL condition. Hard to find barn door model (doors open on the sides, rather than the more common liftgate style). Only 91,325 original miles. Original 250 inline 6 engine, 4 speed transmission. Original carpet, upholstery on seats, even the tires, wheels and hubcaps are the same ones when this was sold new in '66. Includes original factory spare tire under the rear cargo area. Everything still works: instruments, heater, lights, blinkers, etc. I just restored all brake components, this was the only area needing work in order for it to drive again. Zero slop in the steering, runs and drives just like it did 45 years ago. Now for the problems, The paint is not original and was put on 20- 30 years ago. As with any vehicle this old you will find some rust. The passenger inner fender has some towards the front, there is some rust bubbling under the paint on the passenger door corner. The bottom of both front fenders has some rust as well. There is a section of the body just behind the passenger door that has some paint cracking. I can take pictures or movies for anyone who needs to see more detail on anything, or videos to hear the engine run or see the vehicle drive. Hoping the new owner can appreciate that this vehicle has not yet been modified, and would have the time to restore to it's original shape rather than chopping it up or modifying it. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up / or transportation. I feel confident you could drive it home regardless of how far away it's new home is.
