Vehicle Detail

1926 Roadster Street Rod All Steel This is a 1926 Model T Roadster. I have owned it approx 4-5 years. It has 208 miles or less on all new or rebuilt parts. Everything has been replaced. Wheels, Tires, Interior Complete Windshield and all Hardware is new. It has the original Frame and all Steel Body. It has the original Top with new Cradles for it to lay back on with new Leather Straps to tie it down. Engine: The Engine I was told is a 383 stroker. When I bought the Car the engine was newly built. When I got it ready for the road I Calibrated the new VDO speedometer, the Car now has 208 miles. I don’t know exactly what went into the building of the Engine. The things that I can see or hear that it has are gear drive timing - MSD Distributer and Coil - Holly Carburetor - Headers. Walker Radiator. New K and N Air Filter. The Engine will start and run perfect even after sitting for months. Oil pressure and Water temp stay right where they should be. Does not run hot even in Texas summers. Every piece of Aluminum or Chrome that can be bought is on this Car. Everything under the car is chromed including the Rear End, Drive Shaft and Front End. Transmission: Newly overhauled 350. Interior: The interior has all new Upholstery. All new VDO Gauges - Fuel –Oil Pressure-Speedometer – Voltage and Water Temp mounted in a nice Aluminum Panel. Tilt Steering Column with Turn Signal and emergency Flasher. Aluminum Steering Wheel. All new wiring with fuse Panel under the Dash. All lights including Blinkers and Emergency Flashers work. Horn Button on the Steering Wheel works. Body: All Steel. The original Doors both open like they should. Original Trunk Lid in good shape. The floor from the front of the seat to the back of the Car is Original. From the top of the Fire Wall down to the front of the seat has been replaced with heavy gauge metal. Paint: The Paint looks good for a driver but has defects. There is no rust. There is a place on the lower left side of the body that has lumps under the Paint in a line about 5 inches long. It is not very noticeable. The body is very straight except a few very minor dings. Suspension: Clean underside with no leaks. Coil Springs in back with triangulated 4 Bar setup. Chromed rear end, I am not sure what model rear end. Front end is a dropped I Beam axle with all Chromed parts and a Steering Stabilizer. It steers and rides easy with no shake or shimmy. Chrome Drive Shaft. Brakes: Disks in Front – Drums on back. Trunk: The Battery and a Plastic Fuel Tank are in the Trunk. There is still room to carry other things and the Floor is carpeted. The latch for the Trunk lid and the arm to hold the Lid up are missing, these are available I just never ordered them. The weight of the Lid keeps it closed. Texas Titled as a 1926 Ford 2 door. This Car is ready to go and needs nothing. I would drive it anywhere without worry. Only selling because I don’t have time to drive it. Registered in Texas and has a clear Texas Title as a 1926 Model T Roadster. E-mail me with any further questions. The reserve is low and it will sell. I perfer not to reveal the reserve. It may sell early if I get a good offer. Phone 817-691-9546 On May-18-11 at 09:12:30 PDT, seller added the following information: If the winnig bidder requires shipping I will work with the shipper of your choice after it has been arranged. It can be picked up at my home or I will deliver it to a location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Sorry I missed getting a complete front shot of the Car in the add, I don't think it will let me change any Pictures now. It is all in good condition- no damage of any kind to the radiator or shell. Everything is chrome including the I beam drop axle. The Car is registered as an Antique Auto in Texas. Only cost about 10 Dollars a year in Texas, I am not sure how other states do it. My antique auto insurance is less than $200.00 per year. E-mail me with any more questions. Phone 817-691-9546
