This is the car you have been waiting for! I offer up for auction my pride and joy 1988 Porsche 944. I have had this car for over a year and it is so much fun to drive. With the automatic transmission, even my wife can drive it. The exterior is close to being flawless, just very minor scratches on the bottom of the front spoiler. The pictures speak for themselves. this car has been completely reliable and trouble free. Last month we took it to Naples a 500 mile round trip and averaged 24 miles per gallon. The interior is also in good condition. The dash has a couple small cracks in the cover and there is a cut in the leather seat on the passenger side (see photo). It has cruise control, Automatic transmission (shifts fine), power steering and brakes, a pop-up and removeable sunroof and an aftermarket CD/AM/FM radio. It also has an aftermarket Momo leather wrapped steering wheel. The electric window on the drivers side has a little trouble going down all the way and needs a little helping hand, goes up perfectly. The passenger window goes up and down perfectly. The carpet looks great and it has Porsche logo floor mats. it has the original cargo cover and also the hard to find Porsche factory air pump. I have the original Porsche factory key with the light in it (it works!). The tires are Pirelli with 50% to 60% tread left. I have never driven this car in the rain and it has resided in my garage under a car cover. I think I have put approximately 2500 miles on it since purchased, mostly just Saturday and Sunday and going to a few car shows. all of the lights work, the headlights pop-up perfectly all marker lights, blinkers and such work fine. The only problem I have had is with the AC. When I purchased the car the AC did not work. I replaced the compressor ($450.), the condensor ($200.), the dryer ($65.) and the high pressure hose ($98.). The AC system has been changed over from Freon to R-134 but has not been charged with refrigerant. It was on my to-do list but I never got around to it because I always drive it with the windows down and the sunroof open. With the little I drive this car, I think it is time to sell to someone who can really enjoy it. My work schedule of 60 to 80 hs a week do not leave much time to enjoy this classic automobile.
