Selling my 1992 dodge D250 truck,i've owned this truck for almost a year and have had no major problems with it at all. The truck does have some rust under the drivers side door(rocker) see pics.. There is rust under the black panels on the rear bumper,I just put them over the rust so I didn't have to look at it.There is a dent in the hood,a crease on the bedside and the bed rail is bent.There was a dent in the door but i popped it out from the inside,there is still a little distortion in that area. I painted the hood with touch up paint,the original paint was almost all gone.The paint is almost gone from the top above the windshield. The bumper needs aligned,it's not hit anything I just replaced it with another bumper and it doesn't fit as good as the original. One of the beauty rings is missing from the wheels. The carpet is stained and could use a good steam cleaning(it's a work truck!) The truck is in good mechanical shape,starts and runs good. The truck has a/c but is about a can low,I will include a couple cans of freeze-12 to go with it to charge it up. The a/c is on a switch,I did this because the compressor wouldn't engage sometimes,this worked fine last summer. The truck has a posi-track rear end,the rear end leaks a little from the front pinion seal,probably a pint every 6 months. Here's a list of thing's i've replaced since owning the truck: 7/10 new cassette radio(new as in brand new in the box from dodge) 7/10 new drag link and idler arm 7/10 transmission fluid and filter changed 8/10 new starter 8/10 new oil cooler 9/10 new serpentine belt and all metal tensioner 9/10 new front shocks 3/11 new rear main seal(fel-pro) I usually change the oil at 4000 miles,and I only use rotella 15-40 and wix filters.uses about a quart every 1000 miles. The truck needs a front end alignment,it pulls to the left slightly,I drive it 70 miles round trip everyday to work and it's not hard to drive. The rear tires are worn some on the inside edges,they were on the front too long. The throttle position sensor is bad,you have to let off the throttle slightly to engage overdrive,I have been driving it this way for almost a year,this is a very common problem for these trucks,you can buy a tps delete and set the overdrive engage mph to whatever you want this way and it costs under $50 I just never got around to it. The odometer and cruise don't work. This is the best work truck i've ever owned,it will pull anything you put behind it and it gets between 20-22 mpg.I will include the hitch and receiver. I can pick up the winning bidder at springfield/branson national airport or branson national airport. You can drive this thing across country very easy,I would trust it to go about anywhere. You are bidding to buy this truck not to come look at it,I have described the truck to the best of my ability,it is being sold as is where is.
