We parked the body at Simmons Customizing for the body work and paint which included the installation of a passenger side quarter panel, blocked out entire body and jammed, based the body and cleared in Dupont paint. We had a 360 Ci Engine built and installed by Lofton Brothers of Sacramento and they did a fantastic job, this chally can't keep the tires from spinning it is so powerful. The lope has a beautiful sound to it and the exhaust system is all new from Competition headers, dual exhaust out the back with factory chrome tips. We ordered a double cut out rear valance that was retro-fitted to create a true R/T look and then through on the Go Wing and R/T stripe for looks. This chally turns heads wherever we go, with less than 200 miles on the build which was completed May 5th, 2011 you will not be disappointed with the unbelievable throttle response and overall performance. Great summer driver but not for the faint of heart, with the new tranny and clutch set up you really need to know what your doing when piloting this vehicle. Underneath has been detailed and there are a few things to be noted that are not perfect: 1. driver door handle is missing the stainless steel and the key does not lock it 2. rear valance needs adjusting 3. note picture of top of passenger door and fender, holes for mirror and hole for antennae (needs both) 4. rear quarter panel R/T stripe strectched in the hot sun and wrinkled, easy fix I am told I just don't know how to use a heat gun to fix it. 5. side view mirror is pitted 6. the package tray is a piece of vinyl cut out and only sitting there 7. no radio installed and that is also why I left the package tray out so someone could install a sound system THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY OTHER THAN IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THE GREATEST TIME DRIVING A CALIFORNIA RUST FREE COMPLETELY GONE THROUGH E BODY 73 CHALLY 4 SPEED THEN THIS DRIVER IS FOR YOU.
